What I am Reading

I am reading this with several of my students. I love this book. The story is not only beautiful because Kate DiCamillo is a crafty wordsmith but also because of the lessons you learn about loving, kindness and the value of listening.
 It is an amazing story about a rabbit that learns to what is means to love someone while on a long and wonderful journey back to his orginal owner, a sweet little girl. He encounters an array of characters that unintentioanl open his heart and breathe life into his soul. The vaules he learns can be shared and savored by readers young and old.


I have also picked up a copy of Playful Learning and cannot wait to dive into it.
